Grade 410 stainless steel is general-purpose martensitic stainless steel with 11.5 percent chromium content and excellent corrosion resistance. However, a series of hardening, tempering and polishing operations can improve the corrosion resistance of grade 410 steel. Grade 410 steel can be hardened by quenching and tempering.
