Stainless Steel 1.4509 Sheets have an 18 % chromium composition and are resistant to double-stabilized ferritic stainless steel. Coils of Stainless Steel 1.4509 is utilized in cold forming, annealing, and welded applications. Because of its strong resistance to stress corrosion cracking and the stability of titanium and niobium in exhaust gas conditions, the sheet has elevated temperature strength and weldability.
