SS UNS S32100 is 18/8 austenitic steel balanced by Titanium. Stainless Steel UNS S32100 Sheets are utilized for applications in the temperature range of up to about 900 degrees C, combining high strength, resistance to scaling and phase stability with resistance to subsequent aqueous corrosion. SS 321 Sheets have excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion after exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 800–1500 degrees F.
Stainless Steel 1.4541 Sheets are immune to heat and higher temperatures. Stainless Steel 321 Sheets can be applied to products and processes performed at 900 degrees C. The mechanical characteristics of SS 321 Plates are in support of higher creep and stress rupture features. Although it is not possible to harden the SS UNS S32100 Coils by heat treatments. However, the process of cold working on Stainless Steel 321 Sheets will do the work of hardening the SS UNS S32100 Plates well.
