The Stainless Steel 304 Coils are the most basic, a T 300 sequence of the austenitic alloy of stainless steel. Their chemical composition consists of at least 8% of nickel and 18% of chromium. The property of resistance to corrosion offered by SS 304 against the medium-level strong organic acids is functional because of their nickel content. While the resistance to corrosion caused by oxidizing atmospheres is combated with the help of the chromium levels in the SS 304 grade stainless steel. Generally, the stainless steel grades 304, 304L, and 304H operate uniformly in corrosive regions. The SS 304 Coils exhibit a good oxidation resistance when heated periodically under intermittent at 871°C and continuously at 921°C.
