The Stainless Steel 317LN Coils present excellent resistance to corrosion against several stronger chemicals. The rise in chromium, nickel, and molybdenum levels leads to an improved resistance against corrosion caused due to chloride pitting and even conventional corrosion. Compared to the Stainless Steel 316LN Coils, the Stainless Steel 317LN Coils are a notch up when offering resistance. The Molybdenum content in the SS 317LN grade is directly proportional tit e amount of resistance offered by the SS 317LN Coils. Hence, the higher the molybdenum level, the better resistance it offers. The SS 317LN Coils are resistant to the actions of sulphuric acid up to 5%. The SS 317LN Coils can function well in temperatures as elevated as 49℃, ad these SS 317LN Coils can withstand solutions in raised concentrations even below 38℃. It not only surpasses the goodness of corrosion properties of Stainless Steel 316LN Coils, but it also exceeds the great corrosion qualities of Stainless Steel 316L. The Stainless Steel 317LN possesses both great formability and welding ability.
