The Stainless Steel 321 Coils are the stabilized austenitic type of stainless steel. They are utilized for both general and industrial purposes. The SS 321 Coils are broadly used in two profiles: the Stainless Steel 321 Hot Rolled Coils and the Stainless Steel 321 Cold Rolled Coils.
When the Stainless Steel 321 Coils are compared to the best of all the stainless steel grades, SS 304, the SS 321 grade offers better resistance against general corrosion. The SS 321 Coils are developed to be utilized during the chromium carbide precipitation range of 427OC – 816OC. These SS 321 Coils are formulated by us to be used within weak organic acids under medium temperatures. The SS 321 Coils can function well in the presence of phosphoric acid, even at cryogenic temperatures. The SS 321 Coils can withstand 10% weak solutions at higher temperatures. There are multiple benefits of SS 321 Coils, but the SS 321 Coils are better at resisting corrosion than the SS 304. Stainless Steel 321 offers a few resistances: resistance to polythionic acid and corrosion cracking in hydrocarbon service. Since these SS 321 Coils are exposed to chloride and fluoride elements, they cause a free caustic mixture in their chemical composition at medium temperatures. These SS 321 Coils do not ace their working in severe chloride or sulphuric acid solutions.
