Grade 201L SS is austenitic stainless steel designed for primary shaping into wrought items. Amongst austenitic stainless steel, it has a relatively low cost. Furthermore, it has a low embodied energy and a relatively good tensile strength.
Our 201L Stainless Steel Sheets are produced with a hardness of 1/16. It has mild strength and maximum flexibility compared to the other 201L stainless steel sheet varieties. These 201L stainless steel sheets are annealed at certain temperatures. Compared to the other 201L SS Sheet variations, it has moderate toughness and the strongest survival in difficult acidic and corrosive situations. These Grade 201L Sheets have Lower nickel than the 300 series, with manganese replacing it. We offer these sheets at less expensive and competitive rates.

The Mechanical Strength and physical characteristics are comparable to the 300 series. Grade 201L stainless steel is a low-carbon variant of type 201 that is resistant to intergranular corrosion. It is also resistant to the precipitation of chromium carbides and the deterioration of the intergranular corrosion state. High carbon content may result in stress corrosion cracking, particularly when welding thicker materials. These Grade 201L Sheets are not magnetic.
