The titanium-stabilized grade, stainless steel 430Ti plates comprise titanium along with the other essential elements. The addition of titanium in ferritic stainless steel makes them more stable and enhances the corrosion resistance of the plates against intergranular corrosion. Another key chemical feature of the grade 430Ti is the increase in the quantity of chromium. The enhanced chromium content accounts for the improved corrosion resistance and hardness displayed by the grade in the discussion. Apart from chromium and additional titanium, the different elements present in the plates are iron, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, carbon, manganese, and nickel. Every element is added in just the right proportion and mixed to provide the plate with exceptional properties.

The stainless steel plates of the grade 430Ti are used widely for their remarkable chemical and physical properties. One such property is heat resistance, primarily responsible for the tolerance the plates display when made to operate in temperatures far exceeding those of normal conditions. Heat resistance is not the only form of resistance it possesses, with the exception of corrosion resistance property. The plates can resist corrosive agents even in the most stressful conditions. The alloy also tackles oxidation without causing any undesirable effect on its functioning. The tensile strength of the alloy grants it strength and hardness along with the characteristic flexibility for which it is widely known.
