Accurate Metals and Alloys is a prominent dealer and producer of Stainless Steel 436L Plates of superior quality and perfect finish. The quality of our products reflects the purest grade of raw materials we employ for their manufacture. Apart from manufacturing the plates, the handling procedures and the packaging is accomplished per the guidelines and precautions to safeguard the quality and integrity of the products.
There are mainly three types of stainless steel structures, ferritic, martensitic, and austenitic. At the same time, there also exists a hybrid variety called precipitation-hardened stainless steel, a mixture of martensitic and austenitic forms. Stainless Steel 436L Plates belong to this hybrid form of stainless steel comprising properties resonating with both the martensitic as well as austenitic forms. The physical structure of the plates differs from the other grades in being hybrid, and when it comes to its chemical alteration, the difference is the addition of titanium and an even lower amount of carbon than the original 436 grade. Both these modifications enhance the corrosion resistance property of the plates, making them resistant to intergranular corrosion in particular.

The most important property of the 436L stainless steel plates for which it is utilized is corrosion resistance. The plates have the ability to operate in the presence of chloride ions without falling prey to cracking corrosion. Apart from the resistance, it displays against corrosion; the plates are also resistant to atmospheric corrosion and mild corrosive agents. Oxidation is also impressively tackled by the 436L alloys. The tensile strength and the toughness exhibited by the plates in stressful conditions are also commendable, making them an ideal option for applications involving mechanical strain. The plates are also known to possess good weldability and formability which again contributes to the stability and functionality of the plates in harsh conditions.
With an excess of useful properties to offer, the stainless steel plates of grade 436 are used in the automotive exhaust, power plant, chemical industry, fertilizer industry, food processing, dairy industry, etc.
The tests we conduct on the plates and every other product we manufacture through our factories are all aimed at evaluating the properties of the plates and ensuring that the quality of the product is not hampered in any manner.
